Explore what makes you, you.

Dive into your cognitive skillset and brain networks.

Your Favorite Skills
Favorite brain skills

Your brain consists of many small modules. Each module helps you do certain kinds of tasks. We focus on the neocortex, that big outer layer of the brain that is quintessentially human.

Your report will highlight your favorite modules. This reveals your skill set—what tasks you most enjoy or excel at, with tips to thrive.

Your Brain Archetype
Top executive style

Besides favorite modules, you will also see your favorite networks—like instruments in an orchestra. How is your brain wired together?

The broad result: your brain archetype. What's your unique blend of the Dominant, Creative, Normalizing and Harmonizing styles? Your archetype is your key to elevating your life.

Your Engagement Record
Engagement record

During your session, when are you more or less engaged? For each task, does your brain show more slow theta, imaginative alpha, busy beta, or excited gamma waves?

What’s your brain on math, meditation, language, visual-spatial problems, listening to music, using your smart phone, and so on?

Answers to Common Questions

Click a question to expand the answer.

A. You don't need to do much. You should avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand, and cannabis for 72 hours beforehand. Meanwhile, you should continue to take all doctor-prescribed meditations and consume, in moderation, coffee or similar daily substances. We also ask that you minimize the use of hair gels or sprays, and get adequate sleep the night before the scan. There is also a 1-page intake and permission form, which you can complete beforehand or on-site.

By prior arrangement, you may bring a musical instrument or something similar that you can use, that interests you, to replace a task from the usual protocol.
A. The process typically takes 1 hour per person, door to door, and most people get their results in 1 business day, though we do say 3 business days in some cases, such as for large events.
A. EEG technology uses 100% passive sensors. It is completely harmless. However, we do use a small amount of conductive saline-like gel and advise you wash your hair by the evening, if possible.
A. Most tasks such as math, word sorting, and using your smart phone are quiet with pencil-paper. A couple of tasks such as meditation and listening to music are with eyes closed. A few involve body movement such as signing your name with your feet. Usually, three of the tasks involve speaking.
A. Yes! We suggest starting with the complete baseline scan. But the Wellness session includes a brief baseline. Feel free to let us know what you need.
A. We do our best to provide activity handouts in your native language and when needed, an interpreter joins us to make the process easier for you. As for the report, we encourage you to use AI to translate it.
A. No. Definitely not. The brain-wave information cannot read your thoughts, though it can suggest what has piqued your interest. The report highlights your favorite cognitive resources and strategies, and does not measure intelligence or rank or grade people in any way.
A. Sort of. The report is one data point, and for ethical and legal reasons, should not be used for sorting personnel. That said, people do find the report very helpful when contemplating a job role or career change.
A. First, only limited aspects of your report are impacted by lack of sleep or such. Second, we use standard algorithms to clean the data. Third, the brain-wiring diagram is particularly robust even when there are “artifacts”. In fact, we prefer a rich environment that includes social interaction and tools because real people use these in daily life.
A. Your personal data is securely stored, and only you and your practitioner can access your results. Brain imaging data may be used anonymously in-house for research purposes to improve the experience and provide insights. This is what makes your journey possible.
A. Booking a one-on-one debrief with a practitioner is optional. Your report provides everything you need to explore on your own, and there is typically a general group debrief 1 week after.

That said, a private session with a practitioner offers a unique opportunity to dive deeper in a safe space—uncover hidden talents, blindspots and personalized strategies to take control of your growth.
A. We prefer to know about medications, relevant history, and diagnoses such as ADHD or concussions. We are happy to supply a technical fact sheet and follow-up information to make the most of your results, for example, with DNA data or such.

Important: We do NOT provide any medical or clinical feedback or advice. But we can pass on your results to your health provider.
A. Yes, at events with sponsor organizations, or for those who are members of sponsor organizations or the military, we typically offer a 20% discount. We can also apply an adjustment for a shorter or longer session such as 30 or 90 minutes, provided travel time, setup, etc. make sense to offer that.
A. Broadly speaking, your “brain archetype” is based on analysis of many hundreds of people. People’s brains are wired in many different ways! Beyond that, no, your results as an individual are not compared to other people.
A. Over the years, we have gathered a lot of information that links results to several popular personality and workplace models such as Myers-Briggs. We can provide specific feedback and handouts that help answer your questions here.
